This Cabernet Franc evokes memory and possibility, witjh notes of raspberry and orange blossom lifted by ocean air. Lead pencil shavings and toast are nice grounding elements conveyed with a silky mouthfeel.

2021 Merlot
Grown in a vineyard block surrounded by dense forest, this Merlot uniquely reflects the terroir of Mt. Veeder. Both sumptuous and delicately earthy, the wine offers up aromatics of dark cherry, blueberry, rose petal, and forest floor. Silky tannins carry each sip into incredible length.

2022 Zinfandel
Good winter rains at the end of 2021 and beginning of 2022 broke a three-year drought. A moderate spring followed. Summer weather was stable up until a very intense Labor Day heatwave—which was somewhat mitigated by mountain air in our estate vineyards. Light rains arrived mid-September. We harvested the Cabernet Franc on September 13 and the Zinfandel on September 21.
