Grown on the rocky slopes of Mt. Veeder, the 2018 is mountain Cabernet at its finest. Aromas of blue and red fruits intermingle with a touch of baking spice. The tannins are firm yet refined while the weight on the palate is dense and lush. Compelling now, one can only imagine its true cellaring potential.
Incredibly focused and defined, the 100% Cabernet Franc showcases aromas of black tea, boysenberry, and anise. Loaded with dense fruit and spice on the palate, the full-bodied wine has beautifully balanced acidity and ripe, uber-fine tannins. Stunning out of the gate, this wine should provide cellaring rewards for years to come.
Grown on the eastern facing slopes of Mt. Veeder, this Merlot hits all the right notes. Lush and rich, but vivaciously youthful, it is a graceful enigma. Notes of dark cherries, cedar, toasted oak and a long finish highlight this beauty.
A beautifully pure expression of Malbec, the nose delights with rhubarb and red cherries. The acidity is bright, while the mouthfeel is silky and framed by broad tannins.
An interplay of dark cherry, pepper and floral aromas leap from the glass. Fresh acidity carries the savory mid-palate to a long complex finish buttressed by fine Mt. Veeder tannins.
Grown at 1,650 feet above sea level, the fruit from the Mt. Brave and Veeder Peak Vineyards shows flavors of dark Bing cherry and rhubarb spice. This Syrah has incredible length and pitch perfect acidity, enhanced with a touch of minerality.
